Meet Head of Studio Production, Colm Tyrrell. As an Emmy, BAFTA, PGA and IFTA nominated producer in Irish animation, Colm has established himself as an innovative and driven leader with a passion for seeing creative projects from script to screen. With a deep understanding of the creative process, Colm has overseen the production of numerous much-loved, hit animation series, enjoyed by audiences all over the world for partners including Disney, Netflix, Apple and Warner, amongst others. Colm oversees all production through the studio as well as leading the development of our own IP slate of projects.

Paul O’Flanagan is an award-winning Director and one of the founding members of Boulder Media, having joined as it’s first animator in 2000. Over his 20+ years with Boulder Media, Paul has been an instrumental in developing the studio’s creative identity. Paul has acted as Director and Animation Director for many high-profile shows such as ‘Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends’, ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’, ‘Danger Mouse’ and‚ My Little Pony‘ for broadcasters such as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, BBC and Disney. More recently, Paul has recently Directed a brand-new show ‘Transformers:Botbots’ which will debut on Netflix later this year. Additionally, Paul has made several short films over the years. His most recent being: ‘Memento Mori‘ a project which is currently gathering awards and participating in dozens of festival appearances around the globe. Paul‘s short film has recently been long-listed for the Oscar‘s Best Animated Short. For the last few years, Paul has been serving as Senior Television Director in Boulder Media, creatively overseeing production on all Animated TV Shows being produced inhouse.

Gillian joined Boulder in 2001 after finishing college in BCFE. She has worked as an Animator, Animation Director and Director on a considerable number of award winning series and shorts including works for Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and most recently Netflix. Gillian’s dedication, love and experiences have been a major part of her creative evolution over the 20+ years she has been in the studio. Gillian is now one of the Creative Directors for Boulder Media.

As Boulder’s GM, Jenni MacNeaney brings over 20 years’ experience in running busy Animation Studios. For the past 16 years Jenni has been a crucial part of Boulder’s Senior Leadership team and has operationally overseen the studio’s acquisition and integration with Hasbro and eOne. She has strategically enabled the business for both the studio’s rapid growth and subsequent stabilisation phases. Prior joining Boulder Jenni worked at Visio heading up their E-Commerce, Technical and Customer Support divisions for the EMEA region. Before moving to Visio, Jenni held the position of Operations Manager for Dell’s Global Account Division and Dells’ Eastern Europe Distributer Business. Jenni’s career began in Animation working at Emerald City Productions, a studio founded in Dublin by DLT Entertainment. Jenni worked at the studio for nearly 5 years and while there held the post of Studio Manager.

Starting out as a runner in the VFX industry and quickly moved into the animation world via a small animation studio in Dublin. After having worked in many creative roles over multiple productions, he began working in the technical side of the things before landing in the producing space. He quickly discovered his love for producing as he spent many years working as a Line Producer in Boulder Media on several projects. Taking many of those projects from very early development to final delivery to the networks. His experience is varied from the creative, technical and production aspects of animation. Dominic has worked on high profile shows such as My little pony, Transformers Cyberverse and has worked with Clients from Disney, Warner Brothers and Netflix. Most recently Dominic had produced the multi award winning short film “Brother Ezekiel”.

With a career spanning 18 years, Barbara has been part of our production management team since 2017. In addition to her years in Animated Content production management Barbara has extensive experience in project management across the publishing, localisation and computer games industries.
